@MrNinjaSpartan If Turkey is as secular as you claim - why then are they oppressing every religious minority in the country? Catholics and Protestants aren't even recognized as religious communities and are prohibited from building new churches, owning property, replacing priests, etc.. Erdogan is a hyper-nationalistic Islamist (thrown in jail in 1998 for inciting religious violence! REMEMBER?!) with delusions of grandeur who's been undermining Kemalist principles ever since he came to power.

@Tzimnewman3 If there was a choice between 'losing' Turkey to the Arabs, where they've belonged all along anyway, and opening the flood gates to uncontrolled Turkish immigration into Europe where we have way too many Turks already - the choice is very simple. Turkish EU membership is an eternal NO GO! Period. And anybody advocating for such insanity is out of their pea brained dhimmi mind.

@MrDustock "because I think you mean a military union?"No I refer to a Political union with free trade and open borders for the citizens of that union. Much like the EU. The EU does not have a military union but there is an agreement that if one member state gets attacked then the rest of the Union should protect its member.
